I'm very excited to announce that not only did I break my personal
record, I broke the American Women's record. I also won the overall
World Cup Globe for the 5th consecutive season.
I am the 2007 FIS World Cup champion. The overall FIS World Cup is
based on a points system. The woman with the most points at the end of
the season wins the FIS World Cup Crystal Globe, the most sought after
trophy in Alpine skiing. I am extremely happy with my performance this
year, but there is always room for improvement. In the next few years,
I hope to attempt to break the women's world record, which is currently
held by Sanna Tidstrand from Sweden, with a speed of 242.55 km/h, or
150.70 mph.
